Gas & Electricity Prices up again!

The weather has mercifully stayed mild but we still see a rise in our gas and electricity bills. We may be using less gas and electricity but our tariffs continue to increase. Already we are a nation belt tightening but we are fighting a losing battle when prices keep going up and up. Our winter gas and electricity bills will soon be arriving and will have been increased by a roaring 17.4 per cent on gas and 10.8 per cent on electricity. Tariff prices continue to increase even in these times of uncertainty when in fact wholesale cost of gas and electricity has fallen. It is estimated that customers on a standard tariff are now facing quarterly bills up to £514.
