With Profits Endowments Are Still Disappointing
18/02/2011

Payouts for with-profits endowments have significantly dropped over the last 10 years, to around 33% of their peak levels. It was recently published that Standard Life payouts have dropped despite investments growing by 13%, resulting in investors suffering shortfalls on their mortgages.
With-profits used to form the foundation of most investors' long-term savings, with endowments used to repay the mortgage and pensions for retirement. Savers have more than £330 billion tied up in these funds.
Homeowners aged over 55 years who are concerned about shortfalls in their investments and would like to know how much money the value of their property could release to help, can find out by contacting therightequityrelease.co.uk for equity release advice.
