Will Pension Changes Leave BBC Staff Seeking Equity Release Advice
09/08/2010

Following the BBC announcing a number of changes to its final salary pension scheme, BECTU, one of the BBC’s main unions, said the move might prove unattractive to prospective employees.
The union’s general secretary, Gerry Morrissey, stated that the employee benefits package for new recruits will not be as appealing than it is for current employees. This is likely to impact on recruitment as may result in attracting people with an incorrect skill set for the job. BBC staff might now look for equity release advice now that as of next year, the pensionable salary of staff will increase by no more than one per cent per year.
Homeowners aged over 55 years who would like to know how much money the value of their property could release to help increase their pension income can find out by contacting therightequityrelease.co.uk for equity release advice.
