Wholesale Gas Price Rises 30 Percent
07/07/2011

It was reported in the national press recently that the wholesale price of gas for delivery during the coming winter is increasing by 30% to 70 pence a therm, compared to last year.
Ofgem is launching an investigation into the UK's big six energy suppliers who they believe are guilty of profiteering from the rise in the price of gas.
Director of energy firm trade body Energy UK, Christine McGourty, insisted prices in the UK are relatively low.
Homeowners aged over 55 years who concerned about the cost of energy and would like to know how much money the value of their property could release to increase their income, can find out by contacting therightequityrelease.co.uk for equity release advice.
