Water Bills Set to Rise Above £500 a Year

It has been recently reported in the National Press that water bills are likely to rise above £500 per year.
The industry regular, Ofwat, is increasing water charges by 4.6% as part of a 5-year policy that brings water bills in line with inflation.
However, it has been published that households with more that 2.4 occupants or with large gardens will see larger rises in their water bills.
The exact bills that households receive will vary according to their local water company.
