UK life expectancy still on the rise
07/11/2011

The average life expectancy is expected to rise once again according to the Office for National Statistics.
Back in 2010 the average life expectancy rose for both men and women by 4 months and this is expected to keep rising.
This is the average life expectancy for the whole of the UK however figures also reveal that certain areas differ from this average and that England has the longest life expectancy figure.
With UK’s population living longer you may decide to make the most of life when you retire. Whether you want to buy a boat and go sailing, go on that dream holiday you have wanted to go on or invest in a property abroad these all cost money and you may need a slight top up on your current pension.
If this is the case and you are a homeowner aged 55 and over then equity release may be the answer. With equity release plans you can release funds that are currently tied up in your home to help make these ambitions a reality.
To find out more about how equity release can help you or to find out about borrowing further funds on your existing plan contact the right equity release.
