UK house prices fail to grow in September
29/09/2011

According to Nationwide, house prices, although having risen by 0.1% are currently still “treading water” as they have not improved or grown on previous figures.
It has been announced that house prices for the three months up to September compared to the previous quarter showed no difference and it has been predicted to stay like this for the rest of 2011.
This has partly been blamed on the struggle for a lot of people to find new jobs which has resulted in this very low demand from possible buyers.
With the economy still being at a low point and the job market still struggling you may be looking at releasing some funds from your property.
For homeowners aged 55 and over, equity release plans such as the drawdown lifetime can help them get this much needed money to either invest in their grandchildren’s future, top up their pension or income or simply go on that dream holiday you always wanted to go on.
