The Coalition Government Recently Announced Plans To Revise The Whole Pensions System In Britain
The coalition government has recently announced its plans to revise the whole pensions system in Britain. This would enable more people easier access to the support needed to help them in retirement. This is very important as the county has to deal with the problems it is facing with an ever increasing ageing population.
Equity Release schemes are an excellent alternative source to help the retired person top up their income source. However other options could be to sell your house or downsize.
The Personal Finance Society, the Association of Independent Financial Advisers and the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries are supporting the initiative to try and help equity release schemes more accessible to the public.
Safe Home Income Plans (SHIP) the body that dedicates itself to the protection of plan holders of equity release They have launched a campaign to increase the transparency that surrounds equity release. Support for this is increasing.
