Tank of Fuel Rises to a New Record in a Month
03/02/2011

Over the last month, the price of filling up an average car with petrol, has risen by £3. This is the biggest rise in the price of petrol in over 10 years.
The average price of petrol rose by 6.13p per litre to a record 128.27p over a 30day period, from mid December 2010, whilst the average price of diesel rose by 6.56p per litre over the same time period.
The previous highest monthly petrol price increase in the last decade was 5.6p a litre in May/June 2008.
It has been recently calculated by the AA that the monthly fuel bill for a 2-car family has risen by £34 over a period of one year. The AA said the impact of rising fuel prices had become increasingly apparent. Homeowners aged over 55 years who are worried about the increased cost of fuel in addition to other price increases and would like to know how much money the value of their property could release to help, can find out by contacting therightequityrelease.co.uk for equity release advice.
