Spending at the Big Four Supermarkets Hit by High Price of Petrol

Figures have been recently released by Kantar Worldpanel showing that grocery sales have slowed to 2.6% in 3 months to March 20th, down from 3.9% growth. It appears that individuals are cutting back on their groceries to pay for petrol.
Both food and petrol prices have soared over the past year, above the rate of inflation.
