Pensions and ISAs get hit by market slide

Due to the recent sharp fall in the market, the values of pensions and ISA’s have dropped by a considerable amount leaving many people out of pocket.
For example; the average shares Individual Savings Account (ISA) of £10,000 at the start of the year has now dropped 12.2% in value which would make the ISA now worth £8,778.
The recent turmoil in the financial market has caused chaos with pension funds as well. This has meant that the amount of annual pension he or she will receive has also fallen.
