Over 50s Feeling the Pinch

It has been recently reported in the National Press that 30% of over-50s have confirmed that their standard of living has worsened over the past 12 months. The survey conducted by Saga stated than millions of people in this age bracket are making personal cut-backs and are feeling financially under pressure.
It was published that the over-50s are experiencing a higher actual inflation rate than the national average becuaes they are hit harder by increasing prices of food and energy.
The survey identified that many are cutting back on spending compared to this time last year, with 44% going out to fewer restaurants and 26% taking fewer vacations.
