New 50 pound notes to be rolled out in November
10/10/2011

As of the 2nd November 2011 the Bank of England will be producing a new £50 note. This new note will feature two important figures from history; entrepreneur, Matthew Bolton and engineer, James Watt.
These two men were business partners and helped pioneer the use of steam engines in textile manufacturing.
It has been announced by the Bank of England that the note will have a range of enhanced security features to reduce the amount of fraudulent notes in circulation.
These notes will initially circulate at the same time as the current £50 note but eventually the old note will be discontinued, as indicated by the Bank of England in due course.
Fifty pound notes are the notes that are seen least of, and a note that we all would like to have in our wallets a bit more. If you are feeling the notes in your wallet are getting a bit thin or you could do with an extra bit of money to help out your grandchildren, top up your pension or income or simply for yourself and you are a homeowner aged 55 and over then this may be possible.
If you meet the criteria above then equity release could be the answer for you. Equity release is a means of freeing up funds that would otherwise be tied up in your property.
