Might Equity Release Help Provide Protection from Bad Weather Damage
19/11/2010

The Association of British Insurers have highlighted the threats posed by bad weather damage to homes. Insurers and consumers are at risk of harm caused by adverse weather conditions.
Lloyds TSB research has found that in the last 12 months, properties in the UK had suffered damages worth £1 billion and one in eight homeowners in the UK had been affected by bad weather conditions.
Media relations officer for the Association of British Insurers, Malcolm Tarling, said: "It's relatively easy to reduce the likelihood of burglary happening, but weather is much more difficult to predict, and the consequences ultimately can be much more devastating and affect a greater number of people."
Homeowners aged over 55 years who are struggling to find cash to provide protection for their homes from damage due to bad weather and would like to know how much money the value of their property could release to help, can find out by contacting therightequityrelease.co.uk for equity release advice.
