House Prices Are On The Increase This Could Encourage More People Over 55
21/07/2010

Martin Gahbauer, Nationwide’s chief economist, said the 0.1 per cent increase in June was slightly slower than in previous months. He said - “Recent indicators point to an increase in the supply of property coming to the market for sale, perhaps in response to the abolition of home information packs in the opening days of the new coalition government.”
A report published by the Nationwide Building society showed that a home in the UK on average is now worth £170,111. A month ago the average house price was £169,162. House prices are 8.7 per cent up from this time last year, and have increased by 3% during the first 6 months of 2010.
This could be good news for those people who are considering the option of equity release. This is available for people over the age of 55. They can take out equity from their property to either use it as a lump of cash to pay off debts, home improvements or what ever they want. Some just use it to take a monthly income to help with their every day living. Contact The Right Equity Release to get access to independent face to face advice on the best options for you.
