Families Experiencing Biggest Squeeze Since 1920s
09/02/2011

One of the governor's at the Bank of England, Mervyn King, recently stated that families are experiencing the biggest squeeze on their personal finances since the 1st World War.
He explained that the financial pressure has been caused by soaring inflation and pay freezes (or small pay rises not in line with current inflation levels). Mr King also said that the cost of living is likely to rise by somewhere between 4 per cent and 5 per cent over the next few months, although it will drop back next year.
Homeowners aged over 55 years who are worried about rising inflation and would like to know how much money the value of their property could release to help, can find out by contacting therightequityrelease.co.uk for equity release advice.
