Equity Release can Help with Personal Debt
15/12/2010

Recent research by the Money Advice Trust and Barclaycardhas revealed that accumulated personal debt among adults has reached £1.455 billion and the internet could be a useful tool for people to find equity release schemes, as 30.1 million UK adults access the internet every day.
Chief executive of the Money Advice Trust, Joanna Elson OBE, said: "As people become more internet-savvy, banking and shopping online, it's important that we enable them to get advice in a way that suits them best too."
She also said that the economic downturn has led to more financial worries among borrowers, causing a higher demand for financial advice.
Homeowners aged over 55 years who are concerned about personal debt and would like to know how much money the value of their property could release to help, can find out by contacting therightequityrelease.co.uk for equity release advice.
