Equity Release Can Increase Retirement Income
22/11/2010

There has been a change in attitudes with now more than 60 per cent of individuals aged less than 65 years intending to continue working beyond the traditional retirement age, according to new research.
According to Greg Davies at Barclays Wealth, people in the UK are more likely to carry on working past retirement age than any other nation. He said: "Whilst in previous generations there have always been an energetic few with the health and drive, many looked to create their wealth early on in life with a view to enjoying it when they retired."
This might lead to more people looking to see how an equity release scheme could provide an increase to their income.
Homeowners aged over 55 years who are concerned about their retirement income and would like to know how much money the value of their property could release to increase this, can find out by contacting therightequityrelease.co.uk for equity release advice.
