EU Demands Taxes That Will Cost Families 200 Pounds a Year
22/06/2011

European Union MEPs have been criticised for trying to hit British families with £200 a year stealth taxes which they plan to raise. It was reported recently in the national press that this raise will hit households with taxes covering everything from consumer charges to aviation levies. In addition to this it was reported that the money Great Britain receives back from Brussels will be cut.
The EU's budget for 2013 to 2020 would see a 5% increase, above the current 3.6% EU inflation rate, pushing their budget to 907billion euros, or £787billion.
Prime Minister David Cameron has responded by suggesting that the EU budget is capped at the current rate of inflation, but given that Briton is governed by the Lisbon Treaty, it is unlikely that this motion will be carried.
Homeowners aged over 55 years who are worried about possible stealth taxes and would like to know how much money the value of their property could release to increase their income, can find out by contacting therightequityrelease.co.uk for equity release advice.
