Drivers to Miss Out on Oil Price Fall
11/07/2011

It was recently reported that due to the fall in the price of oil, petrol prices should be reduced by 4p per litre. However, the AA are sceptical as to whether the full extent of this price reduction will be passed onto the consumer, even if a price war is instigated by supermarket chains.
The head of public affairs at AA, Paul Watters, reported that in March when the oil prices plateau'd at $115, the price of petrol was at 133.5p per litre. In May oil was once again at $115 but the prices at the pump were 135.75p per litre, even with the benefit of the fuel duty cuts that occurred in April.
Homeowners aged over 55 years who are concerned about the price of fuel and would like to know how much money the value of their property could release to increase their income, can find out by contacting therightequityrelease.co.ukfor equity release advice.
