Diesel Hits New Record High of 6 Pound 50 a Gallon
25/05/2011

It was recently reported by the AA that the cost of diesal has reached a record high of £6.50 a gallon. Due to the combination of increasing oil prices and a weak pound, it is speculated that petrol prices might hit £1.50 per litre by Christmas.
According to the AA it is now costing £8 more to fill up a typical 50 litre tank with petrol, compared to a year ago. A two-car household is now paying £33.57 more per month for petrol.
Homeowners aged over 55 years who are concerned about rising fuel prices and would like to know how much money the value of their property could release to increase their income, can find out by contacting therightequityrelease.co.uk for equity release advice.
