Couples May be Forced to Pay One Hundred Thousand Care Bill Before State Helps
14/07/2011

A recent article published in the National press reported that according to the care services minister, Paul Burstow, individuals will have to pay up to £50,000 for care, unless they deemed as being very poor. For married couples a bill of up to £100,000 is anticipated.
An independent review by economist Andrew Dilnot is expected to suggest a £50,000 cap, and recommend people take out insurance to cover the cost.
Homeowners aged over 55 years who are concerned about their care and would like to know how much money the value of their property could release to help, can find out by contacting therightequityrelease.co.uk for equity release advice.
