Cold Winter and Middle Eastern Unrest Push Fuel Bills Up
27/04/2011

It has recently been announced in the National Press that the six main energy suppliers have pushed their prices up by an average of 5.9%. This has been put down to the cold winter and the rise in the cost of energy due to the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East.
An average household can expect to pay an extra £57.66 over the winter months.
Director of Energyhelpline.com, Mark Todd, said bills were set to rise by another 15% as the problems in the Middle East continue to hit prices.
Homeowners aged over 55 years who are concerned about the rising cost of gas and electricity and would like to know how much money the value of their property could release to help, can find out by contacting therightequityrelease.co.uk for equity release advice.
