Green Energy Policies to Add 300 Pounds to Energy Bills
19/09/2011

It was recently reported in the National Press that new energy policies that are being implemented by the Government will add more than £300 to the average household's energy bill. The policies are designed to promote the use of renewable fuels and nuclear power.
Other major factors that are influencing this price rise are the new obligations that have been imposed on energy firms to use increasing amounts of renewable electricity to power up lower incomed homes.
The Prime Minister’s senior policy adviser stated that the enforcement of these policies will add 30% to consumer energy bills by 2020, compared to a world without these policies enforced.
Homeowners aged over 55 years who are worried about rising energy bills and would like to know how much money the value of their property could release to increase their income, can find out by contacting therightequityrelease.co.uk for equity release advice.
