Baby Boomers Facing Pension Crisis
01/09/2011

It has been recently reported in the National Press that approximately 26% of people that are approaching retirement age do not have a private pension. Women in this 'baby boomer' generation are the worst hit victims, after many have given up work to raise children or care for their parents.
According to the report by investment firm Baring Asset Management, 30% of those aged between 45 and 54 and 47% of those between the ages of 25 and 34 years old have not made any pension provision.
Homeowners aged over 55 years who are concerned about their pension and would like to know how much money the value of their property could release to increase their income, can find out by contacting therightequityrelease.co.uk for equity release advice.
