Petrol Prices Near Record High and Expected to Exceed it Within Weeks
16/08/2011

It was recently reported in the National Press that petrol prices are just 1p off record levels. The AA have made it aware that petrol is now costing 136.40p per litre which is stopping some motorists from driving and causing small filling stations to go out of business.
The figures published by the AA were revealed on the same day Shell announced quarterly profits of £5billion. This has been boosted by soaring oil prices.
In response to rising petrol prices, households are going out less often. A one car family has made 43 fewer trips in 2010 that 2008.
Homeowners aged over 55 years who are concerned about increasing fuel prices and would like to know how much money the value of their property could release to increase their income, can find out by contacting therightequityrelease.co.uk for equity release advice.
